On July 23, London National Gallery will launch the art exhibition of pictures of different artists devoted to a subject of love.

According to organizers of the exhibition love always inspired many painters. The exhibition will represent different ways expressing this feeling from canvases by the artists of the XV century to present time.

According to curators of the exhibition, «visitors of the gallery will be charmed with different kinds of love: divine, gentle, family and sacrificial». Visitors will have an opportunity to compare different depictions of love on canvases by Raphael, Vermeer, Cranes, Holmen Hunt, Marc Chagall.

Love became the seventh one in a series of exhibitions organized together with Bristol’s Museum, Galleries and Archives Service and Tyne and Wear Museums. The event is held under auspices of Heritage Lottery Fund, Northern Rock Foundation, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation in London.

The exhibition has already taken place in the art gallery and museum in Bristol. Nowadays the exhibition is being held in the Newcastle upon Tyne art gallery.
