However, what is really important is that this Russian house, certainly, has proved itself as the most innovative and quite successfully and structurally diversifying auction business (for example, Cabinet began to hold auction of objects of art of the Ancient world (the second Russian auction in the history named Art of the Ancient World was organized together with Arkhious gallery on May 20, 2008). For the first time the auction named Russian Applied Art of the XVIII – the early XX centuries and Faberge’s Works (December 15, 2007) was held in Russia. Russian Painting and Graphic Art of the XIX-XX centuries auction held on May 24, 2008 represented the magnificent collection of works of Russian art of the XIX – the early XX centuries. In many respects this selection of Russian painting was superior to similar collections of world auction giants. However, according to organizers of auctions and to information of the number of sold lots and total results of the auction sales the so-called Historical auction sales are the most successful course nowadays. In this season auctions Items of Military History. Orders, Medals, Badges of the Russian Empire took place for three times.
