The late March and early April will be especially eventful this year. A pre-sale display of works by Soviet artists, organized by the Russian Art Gallery will take place in the House a bit later, from April 4 to April 10.

The Spring auction of collectible Soviet Paintings will be held on April 15. Following the tradition, the sales will be conducted in the «Sovetsky» hotel.

The auctioned collection comprises 85 lots. Estimates of the presented works range between $500 and $50,000.

The scientific consultant of the Russian Art Gallery is the chairman of the Russian Commonwealth of Artists, a USSR people’s artist Valentin Sidorov, while the leading expert of the sale is a prominent art critic Vitaly Manin, the author of more than 40 scientific works dedicated to Soviet and Russian art.
