Iran's Art and Culture Exhibition opened in China

Iran’s Art and Culture Exhibition opened on October 18 at the National Library of Jinong, the capital city of Shandong province in eastern China.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by deputy head of Shandong province political committee, Iran’s cultural attaché to China, university professors and students as well as hundreds of provincial people from all walks of life. The exhibition has been arranged jointly by Iran’s Cultural Attaché Office in China and the Chinese International Relations Office.

Different dimensions of Iran’s culture and art including handicrafts, illustration of historical and cultural relics, miniature paintings, and garments of various Iranian tribes, books on cultural themes, Iran’s civilization, art and Persian literature are showcased at the ongoing event. During the five-day event, one film on the country’s tourist attractions as well as some other Iranian movies will be screened daily.
