Ink and water-colours by Antonella Grima

An exhibition of works by Antonella Grima will be launched on August 6 at Heritage Malta in Valletta. The show «Beyond» comprises 25 works in ink and water-colour.

Though the artist has participated in a number of group exhibitions during the last four years, it is her first personal exhibition. Antonella is a self-taught artist and considers her work as «outsider art». Her work is inspired by our boundless universe, inter-stellar space, the Milky Way, planets, suns, moons and shooting stars, by mystery and magic of life itself.

Antonella uses ink and water-colours. She is a graphic artist and uses strong contrasts of black and white, of dark and light in works filled with poetry of soft delicate blues, dark obscure blacks and shining luminous whites. Antonella might break into colour soon.
