The annual spring festival of flowers Art in Bloom will take place at the Boston Museum of Fine Art, April 30 through May 3. More than 70 New England garden clubs will participate in this colorful event where they will have an opportunity to show their fantasy and craftsmanship in arranging various flower compositions.

The Martha’s Vineyard Garden Club former co-presidents sisters Judith Bryant and Nancy Cabot along with their cousin Susan Boass are active participants of the festival. This year they will design and execute a dramatic flower composition depicting a rearing horse and its rider in a moment of struggle.

The festival including lectures, master-classes, tours and activities for children will last for 4 days.
